I have worked at Stockland Green School for the last five years as a science teacher, over the last year I have taken on the role of SENDCo. Within the learning support area we have two small class rooms for intervention groups and a larger classroom where the Autism Lead Practitioner is based. As a department we work together to support students in classrooms and through small group interventions. We have a homework club that runs after school (Tuesday – Friday, 3.20pm until 4.00pm) in the library that is open to all students, this is an opportunity for students to work through any homework they have with the support of teaching assistants.
