Enrichment

The variety of enrichment activities that we offer at Stockland Green School is vital in ensuring we provide our students with a wide range of experiences that go beyond the classroom. Our team of Enrichment Leaders are responsible for providing regular opportunities for our students to broaden their horizons, develop their personal qualities and to aspire, believe and achieve.

Working closely with our Form Ambassadors, Head Students and pupil Wellbeing Leaders, we guarantee that student voice plays a central role in the ongoing development of our Enrichment programme.

Our exciting extra-curricular programme has relaunched this term, meaning that students will have access to a huge range of clubs, competitions and activities across the academic year, before school, at lunchtime and at the end of the school day. As a Silver Rights Respecting UNICEF School, we are committed to embedding children’s rights in our practice and ethos. Our extra-curricular programme supports this by providing a varied opportunities; including Henna Club, Press Gang, Eco Schools, Choir and Dodgeball.

Over the course of the academic year we will be launching inter-house competitions, our Wellbeing Weeks and marking other key events such as Anti-Bullying Week and World Children’s Day. This also includes the UNICEF outright campaign surrounding the topic of mental health awareness.

Eco-Schools will be working towards maintaining Stockland Green School’s proud status of a ‘Green flag’ school, and making our school even more environmentally friendly. This includes participating in national competitions, researching and raising awareness of environmental issues and including the wider community in students’ work and actions.

The Enrichment Team look forward to seeing all students participate in the opportunities available to them at Stockland Green School and celebrating their successes and achievements.
